At Critical Edtek, our American Heart Association (AHA) courses do more than just check a box — they are dynamic, engaging, and built to truly prepare you for real emergencies. Our instructors are experienced emergency clinicians who have worked hundreds of real cardiac arrests. With deep knowledge of the pathophysiology behind cardiovascular emergencies, they bring the science to life, showing you why each action matters. Our courses aren’t about memorizing steps; they focus on providing the confidence, skills, and mindset you’ll need when every second counts. View all of our AHA course offerings below. The AHA’s BLS course is geared towards healthcare professionals or anyone working in a healthcare setting. BLS trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

Advanced Stroke Life Support

Developed by experts in stroke, emergency medicine, prehospital care, and nursing education, the ASLS curriculum is now widely used by hundreds of hospitals, EMS systems, and educational institutions throughout the country and around the globe.

The AHA’s ACLS course is geared towards advanced healthcare providers, especially those working in acute and critical care settings. ACLS builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, with the added application of pharmaceutical and electrical therapy.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Experienced Provider

The ACLS-EP course is designed for seasoned clinicians who manage complex cardiac arrest cases. It focuses on improving outcomes in cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, and toxicologic emergencies by expanding on core ACLS guidelines and strengthening critical thinking and decision-making skills through case-based scenarios.

The AHA’s PALS course is geared towards advanced healthcare providers in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units who may come in contact with pediatric patients. PALS builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, with the added application of pharmaceutical and electrical therapy.
